Licensed Master Social Worker - Mobile Crisis
Position HighlightsDepartment: Mobile Crisis InterventionHours: 40.00 per weekShift: Shift 2
Position SummaryTo provide direct services as a part of a multidisciplinary team the master’s prepared clinician will provide direct care including individual (particularly children/adolescents), couple, family and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, crisis intervention and discharge planning.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Direct Patient Contact:Provide individual and family therapy to children and their familiesParticipates in direct care to assess needs and coordinate servicesMaintains daily/weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records systemsProvide therapeutic services to patients and their families Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partnersCompletes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely mannerParticipate in our high risk programDemonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients including LGBTQ+ communityMaintain case load dependent on need Participates in clinical supervision with LCSWProvides on-call support on a annual rotational basis if required by programProvide crisis management, support and triage
Minimum QualificationsMaster’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapyPossession of valid clinical license in Connecticut (LMSW, PC-A, MFT-A)Valid driver's license a must for in home servicesComfort with using DSM 5 and understanding diagnosesMust have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organizedMust be able to work as a part of a teamPreferred QualificationsLCSW, LPC, LMFT preferredPrevious experience providing clinical care is desirableExperience/knowledge of substance use disordersExperience/knowledge in working with LGBTQ+ Previous home visiting experience
