Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Operations Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and excellence in our legal services. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain broad business experience in a small company setting, with exposure to the legal, judicial, and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities


Administrative Duties: Perform standard administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and other operational activities.
Client Order Management: Take and process client orders electronically or by telephone, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Client Scheduling: Maintain and confirm client schedules, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Client Interaction: Interact with clients regarding special orders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Order Processing and Invoicing: Process orders and invoices clients, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, or a related discipline).
Work Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in a related field (new college grads are encouraged to apply).
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process orders and manage client schedules.
Time Management: Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Communication: Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision.


Preferred Qualifications:


Legal Industry Experience: Experience working in the legal industry, either in a law firm, court reporting, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other productivity software.
