We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our New York General Liability and Professional Liability practices and to grow with us as we continue to build and refine our systems, processes, and culture. This position is fully remote, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement if you are located near one of our offices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, is comfortable with some ambiguity, and takes pride in being a reliable, proactive partner to attorneys and teammates. Primary Job Responsibilities • Support attorneys handling General Liability and Professional Liability matters from case inception through resolution • Prepare, file, and manage pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence • Handle state and federal e-filings • Track deadlines, manage calendars, and help keep matters moving efficiently • Assist with discovery organization and document management • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal team members • Contribute to improving workflows, templates, and processes as the firm grows • Other administrative and legal support duties as assigned Requirements • Experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a litigation setting • Strong New York litigation experience preferred; Pennsylvania experience is a plus • Comfort working in a growing firm where priorities may shift and processes are evolving • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion • Clear, professional communicator who works well independently and as part of a team • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems The hourly salary range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, which features health and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, and additional offerings designed to support overall well-being.
