Currently in its founding phase, the studio is building its operational and legal foundation while fostering transparent, professional, and respectful collaboration. LCG prioritizes collective growth and responsible development over individual branding.
Role Description
LCG Studios is seeking a Legal Advisor (Volunteer) to provide limited-scope, advisory support as we establish our legal and operational framework.
This role is not litigation-based and does not require formal representation. Instead, the advisor will help ensure the studio is operating responsibly and within appropriate legal boundaries during its early-stage development.
Responsibilities may include:
• Reviewing and advising on documents such as NDAs, volunteer agreements, and basic contracts
• Providing general guidance on compliance, structure, and risk awareness
• Offering insight on best practices for startups in creative and digital media spaces
• Answering occasional legal questions as they arise during studio development
This is a flexible, low-commitment advisory role conducted remotely.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) or current law student (2L/3L preferred)
• Interest in startup environments, creative industries, or digital media
• Strong understanding of general business/legal fundamentals
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide practical, actionable guidance
• Comfortable working in an advisory capacity without day-to-day involvement
