Lead Trim/Finish Carpenter/Punch Specialist
We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced trim carpenter who is motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player to oversee and coordinate trim carpentry on various construction job sites. We are an established family-owned company in the construction industry. For 38 years, West Construction has been remodeling and constructing new high quality custom homes in Arizona.
? Analyze and read construction plans
? Communicate with homeowners, office staff, and superintendents in a clear and professional manner
? Install baseboard, shelving, crown molding, casing, closet rods, and handrails
? Hang and adjust doors and frames, including pocket doors and windows
? Adjust cabinetry and appliance panels, occasional box, and hardware installation
? Complete Punch list items
? Reading and understanding specifications, sketches, design drawings, or architectural plans to layout and determine dimensions and material take off.
? Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
? Working knowledge of on-site field installation and finishing procedures
? Ordering and picking up materials
? Cleaning up tools and job site once work is completed
? Includes a multitude of other construction and home maintenance responsibilities

Qualifications
? At least 5 years of experience in trim carpentry
? Must have own tools
? Dependable and prompt attendence
? Reliable transportation
? Pass E-Verification process, background check, and drug screen
? Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, carry, climb, and stand for long periods of time.
? Must be able to read and speak English.
? Must be able to read a tape measure.
Pay depending on experience and quality
