About Disney+ and the Direct to Consumer Team

Disney+ is a leading streaming service that brings The Walt Disney Company's iconic storytelling to fans and families worldwide. The Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, driving growth and innovation in the digital media landscape. As a member of the Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team, you will contribute to the development and execution of a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.

Key Responsibilities


Operational Scheduling: Schedule on-service live events, lean-back channels, and promotional assets on Disney+, collaborating with programming and operational teams to ensure smooth content delivery.
Data Reconciliation: Develop and review reports for daily auditing of schedules and data reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Backup Scheduler: Act as back-up scheduler for US, Canada, and Global Originals, providing support and coverage as needed.
Project Management: Represent Disney+ Global Scheduling in meetings and handle ad hoc requests and deliverables with a solution-oriented mindset.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teams such as Content Planning, Live Operations, Distribution Operations, and Platform Operations to ensure alignment and effective communication.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in program scheduling or a related field, with a focus on live events, linear TV, or SVOD.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong attention to detail.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams and matrixed organizations.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Adaptable to new technologies and dynamic environments, excelling under pressure and demonstrating high emotional intelligence.
Education: Bachelor's degree in media, Communications, TV Production, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:


Familiarity with Live Operations: Experience with live operations is a plus.
Scheduling Software: Proficient in utilizing scheduling software, including Mediagenix WHATS'ON and Content Scheduler.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $78,200 to $104,800 per year, depending on experience and location. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you may be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units.
