Job Summary

KBR’s Readiness and Sustainment Solutions recruiting team is looking for a Lead Recruiter (Team Lead) to join our team. As part of the R&S Government Solutions team you will work in a fast moving and dynamic environment. We are looking for a leader who can offer a consultative recruiting approach, working closely with hiring managers and project leads to determine the best methods to attract and source talent. This is a remote position and will require some travel to customer sites both CONUS and OCONUS.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage a team of recruiters and internal customers in ensuring positive team culture, performance, change management, and PTO management.
• Oversee recruiting operations, including internal mobility, internships, functional teams, vendor relations, and SkillBridge military hiring programs.
• Coach, motivate, and support team members, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Ensure the successful execution of end-to-end recruiting solutions and delivery of team hiring goals and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners through a consultative approach.
• Regularly track and share pipeline activity with stakeholders, using data to inform decisions on business processes and approaches.
• Initiate and implement recruitment strategies to increase the talent pool and pipelines.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiencies, removing roadblocks to team success.
• Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for direct hire and contingent opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Proposal team to identify and secure key personnel for proposal submissions.
• Partner with People Operations team to manage candidate processing and onboarding, ensuring accurate completion of all required paperwork.
• Act as a recruiting subject matter expert, advising leadership on best practices.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of management experience
• Previous experience with recruiter metrics, internet sourcing skills, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage hiring of multiple concurrent positions
• Excellent communication skills both verbally (over the phone or in-person), and in basic business writing such as letters, job postings, marketing materials, etc.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to build strong, productive relationships with hiring managers
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
• Ability to adapt within a continually evolving environment using proven time management skills and sense of urgency
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance
• Proven track record of success working remote

Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years professional experience preferred
• Active secret clearance
