You will take live classes, contribute to curriculum development, and support the recruitment and management of a broader group of instructors. This is a critical role and you will work directly with the India and global leadership team on this high visibility initiative. Your work will include : Curriculum Delivery: Conduct live online classes for a diverse group of learners, ensuring high-quality instruction and engagement. Content Development: Develop and refine course materials, lesson plans, and projects, leveraging our extensive Codecademy library as a valuable resource. Student Engagement: Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement. Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance through assignments and projects, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning. Doubt Resolution: Assist students with technical challenges and address their queries both during and outside of class. Instructor Recruitment & Management: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and management of instructors to ensure a high-quality teaching team. Bootcamp Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to shape and execute strategic initiatives for bootcamp growth and improvement. What do you need ?We’re looking for a rockstar professional with real world experience as a full stack developer and a passion for teaching about technology. Here’s what we’re expecting : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus Minimum of 8 years of real world experience in technology companies, leading impactful projects and workstreams Proficiency in full-stack technologies including, but not limited to: Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js) Back-end: Node.js, Express.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase) DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) Prior experience in B2C teaching or training roles is highly desirable Strong drive to work in unstructured and fast-paced environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Evidence of ‘steep slope’ learning ability and ownership mindset What makes you standout – (a) experience in blue chip tech companies (b) AI and LLM related expertise (c) extensive B2C teaching experience Equal Employment OpportunityAt Codecademy, we are committed to teaching people the skills they need to upgrade their careers.
