Job Expectations: Position Type: Experienced - Lead Employment Type: Full-Time; Long-term Project-Based (Can be extended) Work Setup & Location: WFH - Metro Manila Work Schedule: Mondays - Fridays; Night Shift Pay: Php 180,000 - Php 280,000 Industry: Advertising Services About the Job: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead DevOps/Cloud Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain our client's cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers while ensuring the scalability, security, and resilience of cloud-based systems. You will drive automation through Infrastructure as Code, streamline CI/CD processes, and enforce cloud security best practices. Working cross-functionally with software and data engineering teams, you will provide reliable platforms that enable seamless deployments, optimize resource utilization, and safeguard compliance with industry standards. Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a mentor, provide strategic guidance on infrastructure initiatives, and foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering , including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Docker (non-negotiable). Strong knowledge of Kubernetes administration , including deployment and troubleshooting. Proven experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines in production environments. Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) . Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts and implementations. Experience designing and managing systems compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, or HIPAA . Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) . Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and Bash . Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex infrastructure concepts clearly. Demonstrated ability to document processes, manage incidents, and mentor junior engineers. Comfortable working in Mac or Linux-based development environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools. Familiarity with authentication services (e.g., Auth0). Knowledge of serverless architectures, database management, and optimization in cloud environments. Background in advertising technology or marketing analytics infrastructure. Expertise in cost optimization strategies for cloud resources. Relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional). Knowledge of policy as code, zero-trust security models, and security automation. Strong grounding in first principles, systems internals, and fundamental computing concepts.
