Lead Developer with Managerial Responsibilities (.NET & F#)

JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to take on newly assigned managerial responsibilities within our product team Brand Payment and Indirect Procurement. This role entails a deep involvement in both hands-on development and team leadership, ensuring high-quality software delivery while mentoring and guiding the development team. The product team operates within the Operation domain and Corporate Services tribe (Finance & HR). The aim of theproduct is to provide a centralized platform for gathering, managing, and sharing B2B financial data to SAP S/4Hana cloud. You will also be close to our business to improve our B2B financial cockpit and involve in future improvements following some European law changes. TASKS Technical Leadership :Development Standards: Collaborate with other tech leads and architects to define and apply development standards, architectural guidelines, and coding practices.Code Quality: Ensure code quality through the implementation of automated testing and code reviews.Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.Performance & Scalability: Ensure high performance and scalability of the developed solutions, keeping in mind user experience and business requirements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (primarily product owners, designers, QA, etc.) to ensure that development efforts are aligned with product and business needs.Technical Guidelines: Define technical guidelines for the team based on business needs, in close collaboration with the product owner, developers, QAs, SREs, and Solution Architects.Technology Selection: Choose the most appropriate technologies for product needs.Process Adherence: Ensure the team follows guidelines and maintains high code quality, adhering to DevOps and QA practices.Team LeadBalancing workload and priorities across the team.Team Leadership: Lead and manage the development team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.Mentoring: Mentor and coach developers to enhance their technical skills, promote best practices, and encourage professional growth.Team Collaboration: Facilitate team meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Management Rituals: Participate in HR cycles (FIT, TR, skill matrix evaluation, 121…) and the definition & assessment of OKRs with the support and coaching of the Lead IT.Regular Meetings: Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with developers to assess progress, address challenges, and align on individual goals (and Officevibe animation depending on the size of the team) MUST HAVE skills Proven experience as a lead developer or in a similar role with newly expanded managerial responsibilities.Strong technical expertise in software development, with a solid understanding of DevOps and QA practices.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in guiding and mentoring developers.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.In-depth knowledge of architecture, development standards, and coding practices.5+ years of experience as a full-stack developerExperience with Kafka/RabbitMQ message brokersUnderstanding of .NET ecosystem and interoperability with C#Experience with F#Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript and AngularSQL (Postgresql) databasesGitlab CI/CDStrong knowledge on REST ApisYou are familiar with cloud programming tools and willing to extend your knowledgeYou assure the quality of your code with unit and integration testsYou are fluent in EnglishYou are a proactive and dynamic person, motivated to grow within tech teamsGood knowledge on docker, docker-compose and containerization NICE TO HAVE skills Knowledge in F# programming language or Experience with functional programming conceptsExperience with KubernetesExperience with microservices and DDDGood experience with unit tests and integration tests.You will have the opportunity to use monitoring (Grafana/prometheus) and observability (ELK)Experience with Copilot to speed up your development ✅ BENEFITS Variable bonusThe dynamic and creative environment within international teamsThe variety of self-education courses on our e-learning platformParticipation in meetups and conferences locally and internationallyFlexible Office with up to 2 days at home.
