PURPOSE...
Provides Machine Learning service to BCBS plans to improve claim processing, provider prediction, and automation that reducing human intervention process. As extension of ML services to other business cases and additional plans who joined to this service, we need resources to help to development ML program with development team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help senior leadership make informed decisions.
? Lead and mentor ML team in the design, development, and implementation of complex and challenging efforts in advanced analytics and machine learning.
? Developing AI and Generative AI models and solutions.
? Provide the team with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it.
? Help with discovering the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help with making smarter decisions to deliver even better products.
? Applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with products.
? Select features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques, data mining using state-of-the-art methods, and, enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
? Exploring, promoting, and implementing semantic data capabilities through Natural Language Processing, text analysis and Machine Learning techniques.
? Demonstrate a breadth of knowledge in the application of statistical methods and/or digital methods to solve business problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience. Development experience of end-to-end artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions including data processing, feature & model development and production deployment with agility and scale. Team lead experience. Experience of Cloud ML solution development in AWS Sagemaker platform. Experience with cloud base data platform like Snowflake and use training/build model. Prescriptive, optimization, and forecasting models, including the use of contemporary techniques such as and not limited to support vector machines, neural networks, and gradient boosting. Experience in programming languages like Java, Python and/or R for complex data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning. Experience in SQL, NoSQL, graph-based, Key/Value stores, document stores. Experience with one or more cloud services (AWS). Experience with Agile Methodology/Scrum Development and DevOps. Ability to communicate and present the work effectively and influence others. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and shift gears quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Master's Degree or Ph.D. in STEM with 4 years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
? Ability to communicate effectively and document objectives and procedures.
? Ability to leverage a wide variety of data science tools and frameworks.
? Ability to support data exploration and data analysis tasks in support of analytics objectives.
? Knowledge in model evaluation, tuning and performance, operationalization, and scalability of scientific techniques.
? Proficiency in statistical modeling applications.
? Proficiency in advanced SQL in multiple syntaxes.
Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
? Salary Range: $113,184 - $224,796
