Lead Consultant - User Experience (UX) Research

Job Summary
We are looking to hire a senior UX Research leader who can own and scale end-to-end user research programs for global technology clients. This role is ideal for someone who approaches UX research as a strategic discipline. You will help clients deeply understand users, uncover unmet needs, and translate human insights into clear product, experience, and go-to-market decisions. The work spans enterprise software, consumer platforms, and emerging technologies, across both B2B and B2C contexts.
You will operate as a trusted thought partner to senior product, design, and business leaders, while also helping build and mentor a high-performing UX research team within I&A.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead complex UX research engagements across B2B and B2C portfolios, from problem framing to insight delivery.
• Design research plans aligned to product strategy, experience design, and business decisions.
• Conduct and oversee qualitative and mixed-method research including ethnography, contextual inquiry, diary studies, in-depth interviews, usability testing, surveys, and cultural analysis.
• Work with global user populations and adapt research approaches to different cultural and market contexts.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, decision-ready narratives that inform product direction, experience design, and GTM strategy.
• Connect user needs, behaviors, and pain points to business impact and opportunity areas.
• Partner closely with client stakeholders across product, design, marketing, and strategy teams.
• Help clients frame the right user and business questions at early stages of product and innovation cycles.
• Mentor and guide junior researchers within the I&A organization.
• Contribute to best practices, research standards, and capability building for UX research at Evalueserve.
Core Competencies
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous problem spaces and translate them into clear UX research objectives and hypotheses.
• Deep expertise in qualitative UX research methodologies, including ethnography, contextual inquiry, diary studies, in-depth interviews, and usability testing.
• Working knowledge of quantitative and mixed-method approaches such as surveys, concept testing, and behavioral analysis, with sound judgment on when to apply each.
• Experience synthesizing complex, multi-source data into clear, decision-ready insights and narratives.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior product, design, and business stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment, balancing rigor with speed and pragmatism.
• High standards for research quality, insight credibility, and methodological rigor across studies.
Required Qualifications
• 7-10 years of hands-on UX research experience across enterprise and consumer products.
• Proven experience leading complex UX research programs end to end.
• Strong grounding in qualitative methods, with exposure to quantitative and mixed-method approaches.
• Experience working with global users and cross-cultural research contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to influence product and business decisions through research.
