What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the flow of oil, natural gas, and other fossil fuel materials through pipelines
- Monitor pump instruments and flow regulation, conducting routine inspections and maintenance
- Operate pipeline and plant equipment, including steam compressors and gas measurement equipment
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate record-keeping
- Supervise contract labor involved in plant maintenance activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 4 years of board operator experience
- Must live within one hour of the Mobile area
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of operation, control, and design of processing or fractionation plant systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical or energy-related field
- Experience working in confined spaces and with industrial equipment
- Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
