Job Description Key Account & Technical Sales Manager – Italy and Iberia (Condition Monitoring Portable Solutions) Your Contribution As Key Account & Technical Sales Manager – Italy and Iberia for FLIR Systems , you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key customers while actively driving new customer engagement across the Italian and Iberian market. This role uniquely combines strategic account management, business development, and hands-on technical sales expertise . A core part of your mission will be to identify, engage, and develop new key accounts , while growing existing strategic customers through a consultative, value-based approach. You will act as a trusted advisor , deeply understanding customer applications and translating operational challenges into effective FLIR solutions. In parallel, you will serve as a technical reference point for both customers and our distributor network , providing product expertise on our Portable Condition Monitoring portfolio (thermal cameras, acoustic imaging systems, and related software solutions). Your ability to master and articulate the technical value of our solutions will be essential to driving adoption and long-term success. You will work closely with Inside Sales, Customer Success, and Area Sales Management to ensure a seamless customer experience. Reporting directly to the Key Account Director , you will have the autonomy, support, and visibility needed to make a measurable impact on business growth in Italy and Iberia territory. Your Job in Plain Text Own and grow strategic key account relationships across Italy. Identify, engage, and develop new customers and high-potential accounts. Build and execute account plans aligned with revenue, growth, and strategic objectives. Lead commercial negotiations and manage complex sales opportunities. Act as a technical sales expert for FLIR Portable Condition Monitoring solutions. Provide technical support and pre-sales assistance to customers and distributor partners. Develop strong technical knowledge of FLIR’s portable thermal, acoustic, and condition monitoring solutions. Deliver products and solutions demonstrations, and technical training to customers and the distributor network. Collaborate with internal teams (Technical Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Success, Operations) to deliver integrated solutions. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, adoption, and long-term retention. Act as the voice of the customer internally, contributing to solution positioning and portfolio evolution. Track and report on pipeline, forecasts, and account performance. Represent FLIR at customer meetings, distributor events, trade shows, and technical workshops. Experience in Key Account Management, Technical Sales, or Solution Selling in an industrial or technical environment. Solid technical aptitude and willingness to become a product and application expert . Experience supporting customers and distributors with technical solutions and training. Strong commercial mindset combined with a hands-on, problem-solving approach. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Fluency in Italian, Spanish and English ; additional languages are a plus. Willingness to travel internationally. Self-motivated, structured, and comfortable working in a remote, field-based role.
