Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Deliver personalized instruction and support based on the students IEPs to help them thrive.
Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff to enhance student learning and achievement.
Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress to ensure accountability and effective planning.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Special Education teaching certification in Connecticut.
Proven experience working with K-12 students with a range of learning needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency in technology and tools used for remote teaching to facilitate an engaging and interactive learning experience.
