Junior Project Manager (Entry Level – Software & IT Projects)

Duties • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination using tools such as Jira and Clickup. • Support requirements gathering sessions and document detailed specifications for software development and IT infrastructure projects. • Contribute to the creation of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test-driven development activities to ensure quality deliverables.• Participate in Agile, and Kanban project management methodologies to facilitate smooth project execution. • Help monitor project progress through tools like VersionOne, TFS, and SharePoint; update project status reports regularly. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment. • Assist in risk management activities such as disaster recovery planning and IT governance compliance. • Support release management processes and contribute to project implementation efforts across various phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).• Maintain organized documentation related to project schedules, test cases, requirements, and technical specifications using Visio and bolthires Word. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. • Basic understanding of project management principles including PMBOK guidelines and SDLC processes. • Familiarity with project management software such as bolthires Project, Jira, VersionOne, or similar tools. • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or related enterprise software solutions is a plus.• Exposure to databases such as SQL or Oracle; understanding of IT infrastructure concepts is desirable. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration. • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities; experience with analysis skills is advantageous. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated time management skills with an aptitude for meeting deadlines and managing priorities effectively.This role provides an excellent platform for aspiring project managers eager to gain hands-on experience in software development projects, IT infrastructure initiatives, and enterprise solutions within a professional setting committed to growth and excellence.
