Junior Project Manager (Entry Level – Software & IT Projects)

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on software and IT projects. Duties β€’ Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination using tools such as Jira and Clickup. β€’ Support requirements gathering sessions and document detailed specifications for software development and IT infrastructure projects. β€’ Contribute to the creation of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test-driven development activities to ensure quality deliverables. β€’ Participate in Agile, and Kanban project management methodologies to facilitate smooth project execution. β€’ Help monitor project progress through tools like VersionOne, TFS, and SharePoint; update project status reports regularly. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment. β€’ Assist in risk management activities such as disaster recovery planning and IT governance compliance. β€’ Support release management processes and contribute to project implementation efforts across various phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). β€’ Maintain organized documentation related to project schedules, test cases, requirements, and technical specifications using Visio and Microsoft Word. Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. β€’ Basic understanding of project management principles including PMBOK guidelines and SDLC processes. β€’ Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, VersionOne, or similar tools. β€’ Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or related enterprise software solutions is a plus. β€’ Exposure to databases such as SQL or Oracle; understanding of IT infrastructure concepts is desirable. β€’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. β€’ Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration. β€’ Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities; experience with analysis skills is advantageous. β€’ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Demonstrated time management skills with an aptitude for meeting deadlines and managing priorities effectively.
