Junior CPU Design Verification Engineer
Intel is a leader in building advanced CPU architectures and is seeking a Junior CPU Design Verification Engineer to contribute to the development and validation of next-generation CPU designs. The role involves hands-on work with pre-silicon models, simulation tools, and verification environments to ensure functional correctness, performance, and power efficiency.ResponsibilitiesPerforming functional verification of CPU logic to ensure the design meets specification requirementsDeveloping verification plans and test benches, and building verification environments aligned with CPU microarchitecture specificationsExecuting verification plans and running system-level simulations to verify functionality, characterize performance, and uncover design issuesDebugging presilicon failures, including reproducing issues, identifying root causes, and partnering with design teams to drive fixesImproving verification infrastructure, tools, automation, and methodology for ongoing CPU developmentDocumenting test plans, results, and technical findings, and participating in reviews with design and architecture teamsSkillsThe candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or any related fieldYou must have 3+ months of educational or work experience in the following: Digital logic design and computer architectureYou must have 3+ months of educational or work experience in the following: At least one scripting language (Python, Perl, or Tcl)You must have 3+ months of educational or work experience in the following: C++ and SystemVerilogUse of AI agents in your projects, college classes, or software developmentExperience with RTL development and debugExperience with x86 or any other computer architecturesASM skillsVersion control software (GIT)Experience with Synopsys simulatorsBenefitsCompetitive payStock bonusesHealthRetirementVacationCompany OverviewOur mission is to shape the future of technology to help create a better future for the entire world, thatβs the power of Intel Inside.
