Junior Accountant, Revenue
About the position Responsibilities • Set up revenue recognition and invoicing schedules for enterprise and revenue share programs in accordance with contract terms and ASC 606 • Send invoices to customers, accurately apply cash receipts, and resolve billing disputes • Maintain and review accounts receivable aging and assist with collections of past due accounts • Record monthly journal entries related to accounts receivable, sales tax, deferred revenue, and revenue as part of month-end close • Perform reconciliations as part of the month-end close process and assist with other ad hoc reconciliations • Assist with sales commission calculations and act as a liaison for channels and services team with updates on billing and collections • Proactively identify and propose ways to improve processes across the revenue accounting organization • Provide project support Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 1 year prior accounting experience • Exceptional collaboration skills to work with teams across the organization and externally with customers • Experience with Microsoft Excel required • Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 preferred • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred Benefits • A choice between medical plans with an option for 100% covered premiums • Fertility and adoption benefits • Access to supplemental insurance plans for additional coverage • Headspace mindfulness app subscription • Global Employee Assistance Program (available January 2025) • Retirement benefits with employer match • Flexible paid time off • 20 weeks for parental leave and up to 12 weeks to care for an ill family member • Pretax commuter benefit • Education reimbursement • Employee donation match to community organizations • 6 Global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) • Dog-friendly workplace • Free lunch and snacks • Private rooftop Apply tot his job
