Immediate need for a talented Jr. Conversational Designer(Telephony). This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Columbus OH(Remote). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Design and optimize IVR and telephony conversational experiences, ensuring intuitive call flows and natural voice interactions.Familiar with UX conversational design industry standards and principles.Familiar with standard UX design processes and research methodologies.Translate customer needs and insights into conversational solutions.Familiarity with technologies and platforms including chatbots, IVR, LLMs, AI, etc.Collaborate with UX team members on the design of multiple virtual assistants and their NLU models.Collaborate on improving the models and ensuring seamless integration into conversational interfaces.Assisting in research activities and creating prototypes for user testing to continually improve the conversation.Familiarity with software used for conversation design, prototype creation and NLU testing.Collaborating with copy writers and subject matter experts throughout the company to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance .Staying up to date on the latest conversational design trends and technologies.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Key Skills: Conversational, IVR, Telephony .Proven experience in IVR or telephony conversational design, ideally within enterprise-scale systems.Strong understanding of UX design processes, research methodologies, and conversational best practices.Familiarity with chatbots, LLMs, NLU, speech recognition, and AI-driven platforms.Experience using conversation design tools (e.g., Voiceflow, Dialogflow, Genesys, Avaya, Nuance, or similar).Our client is a leading Insurance Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
