About the position
Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Journeyman Technical Writer who will provide essential technical writing support for operations out of JBSA Lackland AFB in Texas. This position is contingent upon contract funding.
Responsibilities
Ā Provide day-to-day support in documenting / writing technical materials, equipment manuals, appendices, operating manuals and internal network layouts.

Ā Ability to take existing and potential content and improve it.

Ā Write documentation for internal teams such as developers and programmers.

Ā Prepare instruction manuals.
,
Ā Create product manuals with screenshots and tutorials.
,
Ā Have technical accuracy in writing user documentation.
,
Ā Create software documentation after a thorough collaboration with subject matter experts and technical staff.
,
Ā Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences.
,
Ā Communicate complex ideas in a concise manner.
,
Ā Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
Requirements
Ā Must have a minimum of 6 years' experience in technical writing.

Ā Understand and explain complex technical concepts.

Ā Strong research and analytical skills.

Ā Excellent technical writing skills.

Ā Excellent verbal communication skills.

Ā Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs.

Ā Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
