Description du posteRelevant du rédacteur en chef, le ou la journaliste doit identifier des sujets d’intérêt pour les lecteurs et écrire des articles, à la fois pour le site web et pour la publication imprimée. Une partie de l’horaire hebdomadaire doit être consacrée à concevoir les infolettres envoyées aux lecteurs, ainsi qu’à la révision de certains textes.Principales responsabilitésAssurer une veille des nouvelles du milieu des professionnels de la santé.Rédiger des articles surtout pour le site web, mais aussi pour la publication imprimée.Traduire des textes clés provenant des publications sœurs anglophones de Profession Santé.Concevoir des infolettres envoyées aux lecteurs en s’assurant de la présence de textes porteurs, en retravaillant au besoin les amorces et les titres.Être en mesure de se déplacer pour aller à des congrès ou des événements spéciaux, ou pour réaliser certaines entrevues.Assurer le respect des normes en matière de déontologie journalistique, de droits d'auteur et de respect de la vie privée, ainsi que des politiques de l’entreprise.Participer à de nouvelles initiatives éditoriales et contribuer à l’amélioration et à l’évolution du site web.Exigences de l’emploiParfaite compréhension du français écrit et parlé, et de l'anglais conversationnel est requise.5 années et plus d'expérience en journalisme, de préférence en lien avec le secteur de la santé, de la politique ou des sciences Baccalauréat, de préférence en journalisme, en communication ou dans un domaine pertinent en lien avec le posteBonne connaissance (ou familiarité) des logiciels de mise en ligne, des réseaux sociauxÊtre en mesure de travailler sous pression et à respecter les échéancesÊtre apte à travailler de façon autonome et à trouver de nouveaux sujets d'intérêt pour les lecteursBonne capacité d'analyse et de synthèseRigueurÊtre capable de faire preuve de concentration malgré la diversité des mandatsEnsembleIQ est un employeur offrant l'égalité des chances et engagé envers la diversité et l'inclusion. About the RoleEnsembleIQ is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Journalist to identify topics of interest to readers and to write articles, both for the website and for the print publication, Profession Santé. Reporting to the editor-in-chief, responsibilities include designing newsletters, as well as revising certain texts. (Profession Santé is a specialized journalistic information media aimed exclusively at doctors, pharmacists, nurses and managers in the health network).Key ResponsibilitiesThe daily responsibilities of the position include:To monitor news from the healthcare professional community.Writing articles primarily for the website, and also for print publications.Translate key texts from Profession Santé's English-language sister publications.Design newsletters sent to readers, ensuring the presence of compelling texts, and reworking the opening lines and titles as needed.Being able to travel for conferences or special events, or to conduct interviews.Ensuring compliance with standards of journalistic ethics, copyright and privacy, as well as company policies.To participate in new editorial initiatives and contribute to the improvement and evolution of the website.QualificationsA perfect understanding of written and spoken French, and conversational English, is required5+ years of experience in journalism, preferably related to the health, political or science sectorsBachelor's degree, preferably in journalism or communications or in a relevant field related to the positionGood knowledge (or familiarity) with online publishing software and social networksAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work autonomously and to generate new topics of interest for readersGood analytical and summarization skillsRigorBeing able to demonstrate concentration despite the diversity of mandates.Benefits & CultureWe offer a comprehensive compensation package including extended health, vision and tax-free long-term disability, as well as 100% company-paid dental, life/AD&D, and short-term disability.
