Overview:

TRC Companies, Inc., a leader in engineering consulting, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as an ServiceNow Developer in Hyderabad, India. Responsibilities:
• Support the Digital Cloud service management function for external customers and internal product teams.
• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
• Design and implement solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
• Perform system integration activities with third-party applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications.
• Proposes and manages the shared data needs between the ServiceNow modules and customer portals.
• Uses best practices for procedures and provides input or feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develops plans for ingesting data from disparate sources, make system design changes as required. Reconcile data based on policy and authoritative source requirements.
• ServiceNow portal implementation and customization; develops widgets and capabilities, leverages user interface policies, actions, and scripts.
• Implements ServiceNow users, groups, roles, ACL management.
• Develops applications and modules using APIs and customized notifications, approvals, and inbound email actions.
• Engineer ServiceNow implementation to include workflows, business rule customization and scripting.
• Work with current and identify future customers to ensure their mission needs will be met with minimal impact during transition.
• Ensure requirements are captured and work with teammates to recommend best practices for a smooth cloud transition while maintaining high availability.
• Create and operate multiple cloud infrastructure environments based on best practices and maximizing vendor strengths.

Qualifications:
• Strong experience with ServiceNow development, including custom application development, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency in SOAP and REST web services integration with ServiceNow
• Knowledge of information security principles and best practices
• Understanding of load balancing concepts in a distributed environment
• Familiarity with Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues within the ServiceNow platform
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficiency in ITSM processes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with common service management metrics and SLA reporting needs.
• Experience with application performance management and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Individual should be comfortable working in a independent & collaborative, fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Typical Minimums:
• 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development support in a 24/7 environment.

Desired skills:
• ITIL certification
• ServiceNow Systems Administrator certification
• SIEM platform and solution configuration experience
• AWS Certified SysOps Administration certification
• Understanding of key performance indicators of cloud service providers
• Technical writing expertise for knowledge management documents
• Experience working in a virtual organization.
