The Content Developer of School Projects will manage the content production and delivery of hybrid and online courses. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build interactive, technology-driven, project-based learning solutions that will yield the best outcomes for our learners.

As a Content Developer, you will synthesize your knowledge of online pedagogy, educational technology, and creative skills to produce and deliver quality content. Using best practices in instructional design, you will help us ensure that we are meeting the needs of learners and stakeholders. In addition to executing the standard curriculum design process, you will find innovative ways to assist in the production of instructional video content, all while maintaining attention to ADA Standards for Accessible Design.

This is an internal-facing role that will report to the Content Development Manager. As a part of the Learning department at Lambda School, you will also collaborate closely with your peers including instruction, video production, product design teams to recommend effective and creative uses of technology and its evolving trends.

What You'll Do:
• Manage the curriculum production process from planning to completion and evaluation using existing learning blueprints and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in creating engaging learning activities with a strong focus on professional skills and technologies relevant to the job field
• Coordinate production of instructional content with Program Design Leads and Subject Matter Experts.
• Assist with editing, embedding, formatting, and testing of learning projects and instructional modalities
• Assist in the support and administration of Canvas LMS
• Liaise with the video production team to design engaging multimedia content
• Apply backward design model and best teaching and learning practices in the creation of online curriculum using appropriate software tools.

What You'll Need:
• 3+ years of experience working in curriculum and assessment development
• Must have experience working with Canvas Learning Management SystemExperience with the ADDIE and 4C-ID instructional design models
• Experience in using HTML and CSS
• Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated knowledge of compliance standards related to accessibility
• Experience with project-based learning
• Ability to interact effectively and impartially with diverse populationExcellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills working in high-paced environmentMeticulous attention to detail
• Experience in copywriting, graphic design, programming, audio, and video editing is strongly desired
• Industry experience as a Content Developer, Instructional Designer, UX Designer, or Web Developer is preferred.
