Your Role:
As a SpEd Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Following and teaching lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
Instructing based on subject and grade-specific curriculum
Monitoring and assessing student achievements and outcomes
Exercising classroom and behavior management skills
Sharing your specialized knowledge to coach staff and support special education students
To Be Considered:
You will need to provide:
An active Teaching license with a special education generalist (5-21) and/or special education specialist (5-21) endorsement(s)
Substitute Authorization (must have or be in the process of obtaining if license is expired)
Three professional references, with one from a previous direct supervisor
Completion of a Background Check for Scoot Education and the Colorado Department of Education
