We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic part-time SAT Tutor to join our team at GradePower Learning Valrico! As a SAT Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students in grades 9-12 achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities. If you have a passion for teaching, a strong background in math and science, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply!
About the Role:
Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
Follow GradePower Learning methodologies and philosophies
Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
Teaching certification an asset
Strong knowledge of current 9th to 12th grade math and science curriculum
Strong English grades and written and oral communication skills
Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a 9th to 12th grade level
SAT/ACT Prep experience with own grades in the 90th percentile
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $20-$30/hour depending on expertise
Part-time schedule: evenings Monday to Thursday, Friday and Saturday hours optional
