Job Overview:
Location: Remote (work from the comfort of your own home)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends)
Experience: Minimum of one year in medical billing and collections
Travel: None required
Primary Responsibilities:
Answer patient calls regarding Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and research balances
Manage patient refunds and process patient payments
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and guests
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections
Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
Thorough understanding of EOBs and ability to effectively communicate with patients via phone and writing
Extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude
