About the position We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Junior Data Engineer Works to work on Remote basis. Responsibilities • Understand SQL code and ETL processing. • Take data in raw format, manipulate and turn into a format that analysts can use. • Get data from source and bring it to environments for analysts. • Understand what analysts are trying to do with the data. • Work on a big project involving a new casino management system on the boats. • Take data and map it into casino systems. • Create processes to alert certain people about incoming data. • Work with a team of 6 people to move and format data. • Create ETL pipelines. Requirements • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering. • Direct access via DB link. • Experience with SQL developer to copy data. • Ability to set up data pipelines. • Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting data processes. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Tableau Prep. Benefits • Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr Apply tot his job
