As a Personal Caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll have the opportunity to:
Provide personalized care and support to clients, including medication management, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene
Prepare nutritious meals and maintain a safe and clean environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life
Collaborate with our care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist clients with prescribed medication and medical appointments
Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Prepare healthy meals and snacks, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including light housekeeping and laundry
Offer companionship and social interaction, engaging in activities and conversations that promote clients' mental and emotional well-being
Qualifications and Skills:
1+ year of caregiving experience, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting
A genuine passion for helping others, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Willingness to travel to client locations, with a reliable means of transportation
Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality
