Key Responsibilities:
Assist registered nurses and licensed practical nurses with patient care and maintenance of patient records
Perform hourly rounding, clerical functions, and maintain chart order
Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with hospital departments
Assist with patient teaching, supply maintenance, and equipment management
Enter daily outpatient and observation room charges and maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (will obtain during hospital orientation)
Maintain compliance in RQI and exhibit excellent interpersonal, clerical, and numerical skills
Ability to read, write, and perform math as demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED
