As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with small business owners to help them understand, interpret, and make informed decisions based on their financial statements. Responsibilities
Work remotely with up to 45 clients, providing Controllership services and helping them make informed financial decisions
Read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, identifying areas of opportunity and potential problems
Meet with clients via Zoom or telephone to discuss financial performance, present options, and hold them accountable for taking agreed actions
Participate in quarterly group calls and team meetings for training and company-wide communication
Travel occasionally for live meetings and conferences (not required)
Requirements
Accounting or finance degree required
Strong background in financial and/or accounting roles
Ability to spot and explain financial trends and issues in plain English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with small businesses or law firms (not required)
Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks)
What We Offer
Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $132,600 per year

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are to be determined in conjunction with supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
