Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor to join our Success Center team at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB). As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing academic support to students, promoting student success, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group tutoring to students in various subjects, focusing on improving their academic performance and understanding of course materials
Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies, adapting to the diverse needs of students
Collaborate with instructors and other tutors to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and other relevant data
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance tutoring skills and stay updated on best practices
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum 3.0 grade in subjects desiring to tutor
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong commitment to student success, diversity, and inclusion
