As an SIU Senior Investigator, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve this mission by: • Conducting thorough investigations of suspected healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse • Researching and preparing cases for clinical and legal review • Documenting case activity and preparing written case summaries • Collaborating with law enforcement agencies to prevent and prosecute healthcare fraud • Providing trial testimony and presenting case findings to internal and external stakeholders To succeed in this role, you'll need: • 3-5 years of investigative experience in healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse • Strong communication and customer service skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and open-source database search tools • A bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field • Ability to travel for business purposes Preferred qualifications include certifications like Certified Professional Coder (CPC), AHFI, or CFE, as well as a foundational understanding of Self-Insured Customer Operations.
