As a Senior Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
Coordinating cross-agency efforts to ensure compliance with official agency records requirements, privacy, security, and other related requirements
Establishing data-quality metrics and requirements, including defining values, ranges, and parameters for each data element
Facilitating the creation of data standards based on business rules, data access security requirements, and retention of legacy data
Reviewing agency and interagency data-related work products and coordinating efforts with stakeholder agencies
Presenting findings and recommendations to leadership, Executive Steering Committee, and other stakeholders regarding recommended changes to improve operating practices, accountability, or transparency
We are looking for a candidate with:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
At least 10 years of experience in data governance, ETL tools, and Curam V6 or higher
Strong experience in healthcare data, business intelligence solutions, and systems/software development life cycle (SDLC)
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders
Ability to analyze complex, abstract issues in a logical, structured way
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, and Visio
