We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Software Support Engineer to join our End User Computing team in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch support and maintenance for our Echo core applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and resolving technical issues with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced application support to end users, prioritizing and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders, to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Develop and maintain comprehensive Knowledge Base articles to document problems and solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous learning
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24x7 support, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service and issue resolution
Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to gain a deep understanding of application design and functionality
Requirements:
3+ years of prior application support experience, with a strong focus on customer service and technical troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
Experience working with DBMS, HTTP requests, and API tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus
