Job Title: 3rd Shift Injection Molding Machine Operator
Join Our Team at Oneida Molded Plastics! We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our production team in Oneida, NY. Responsibilities:
Operate injection molding machinery, ranging from 30 Ton to 700 Ton, to standard cycle time
Load inserts into, and unload plastic product from, injection molding machines
Perform visual inspections of product and compare to standard
Perform secondary operations, such as sonic welding, trimming, and light assembly
Maintain an organized, lean, and functional work area, including general cleaning tasks and line clearances
Adequately communicate safety, quality, production, and maintenance issues and concerns to appropriate individuals
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Industrial production experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced production-oriented environment
Ability to multitask and willingness to cross-train
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements:
Able to perform visual inspections and comparisons of in-process product
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to frequently stand, twist, kneel, squat, bend, grip, and reach
