If you live and breathe JQL, get excited about workflow design, and know how to wrangle Jira ITSM, we want to talk.What You ll Be Doing Designing, configuring, and maintaining Jira Software and Jira IT Service Management (ITSM) projects in Atlassian Cloud. Building and fine-tuning JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions that keep projects running like clockwork. Partnering with business and tech teams to understand needs and deliver scalable Jira solutions. Developing integrations with Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML/JavaScript) to extend functionality. Supporting key plugins like ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, and Extension for Jira Service Desk. Creating solid documentation and translating technical concepts into clear business language. What You Bring 8+ years managing Jira Software and ITSM projects, including workflows, permissions, and automations. 5+ years of expert-level JQL experience (if you can write a query in your sleep, we like you already). Strong hands-on experience with Jira REST APIs, scripting, and custom integrations. Proven track record with plugins like ScriptRunner and JMWE. Exceptional communication skills you can document processes clearly and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Bonus points if you ve handled a Jira on-prem to Cloud migration and have familiarity with Atlassian Access, AD, and access controls.
