About the position
As a Senior QA Engineer (m/f/x) for the Rates & Credit Dealer-to-Client eTrading platform at Deutsche Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of one of our next-generation platforms used by Fixed Income Traders globally. This platform is integral to Deutsche Bank's liquidity provision on Rates and Credit financial products, interfacing with over ten of the world's largest multi-dealer platforms. Your responsibilities will include managing the quality assurance processes for complex financial products, which range from Bonds to Exotic Portfolios, ensuring that the systems built are robust, traceable, and recoverable throughout their lifecycle, which can span up to 50 years. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including end users, regulatory bodies, user experience teams, development teams, and project managers to gather requirements, design tests, and plan testing strategies. Your role will involve performing a variety of testing types, including exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. Additionally, you will design and develop automated tests and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users, ensuring that the testing environments are well-maintained and that integration testing is effectively organized and executed. In this position, you will also provide Level 3 production support, which requires a deep understanding of the systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues as they arise. Your expertise in quality assurance will be essential in maintaining the high standards expected of Deutsche Bank's technology solutions, contributing to the overall success of the Rates & Credit Trading platform.
Responsibilities
• Work with end users, regulatory bodies, QAs, User Experience (UX), development teams, and project managers on requirements, test design, and test planning.

• Perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.

• Design and develop automated tests, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users.

• Plan and maintain Testing & UAT environments, assisting in UAT testing, and working with peer teams to organize and perform integration testing.

• Provide Level 3 Production Support.
Requirements
• In-depth experience of QA, preferably in distributed concurrent systems.

• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Experience organizing and performing integration testing across multiple systems.

• Expertise with java-based QA automation technologies for backend test automation.

• Basic knowledge of core Java.
