Job Title: Java Solution Architect
Location: 100% Remote (PST Hours)
Fulltime Permanent FTE
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Solution Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and high-performance Java-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and enterprise-grade systems.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of enterprise Java applications.
ā¢ Design scalable and maintainable microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
ā¢ Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
ā¢ Guide the development team with best practices in code quality, architecture, and performance optimization.
ā¢ Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for projects.
ā¢ Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
ā¢ Participate in code reviews, solutioning sessions, and DevOps processes.
ā¢ Produce high-quality documentation including design diagrams, architecture artifacts, and technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
ā¢ 15+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
ā¢ 5+ years in a Solution Architect role.
ā¢ Expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture.
ā¢ Solid experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
ā¢ Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
ā¢ Familiarity with front-end integration using Angular/React (preferred).
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
ā¢ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience with Kafka, Redis, NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra).
ā¢ Certification in AWS/Azure architecture is a plus.
ā¢ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
