Intact Financial Corporation is a leading provider in the insurance industry, and they are seeking an IT User Support I to join their growing team. The role involves responding to user inquiries regarding computer systems, managing technical resources, and ensuring user identity management to maintain system integrity.ResponsibilitiesRespond to users (brokers / employees) regarding computer systems issues or questionsRecord all queries in order to document the steps leading to the resolution of the problemIntervene in critical situations in the event of a system failureEnsure allocation of the necessary technical resources in order to respond concretely to any situations by following the existing escalation scalesEnsure the management and integrity of user identity by following the procedures in place to secure the use of computer systemsParticipate in the development of documentation intended for users in collaboration with the other support services of the companySkillsAt least 1 year of experience working in a Help Desk environmentExperience or knowledge of FreshDesk Ticketing system or any ticket management softwareIn-depth knowledge of PCs and centralized system environmentsKnowledge of Windows, MS Office, Lotus Notes, LAN / WANBeing customer orientedTeam spiritAnalysis and synthesisBe action orientedBilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the countryNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in CanadaBenefitsFlexible work arrangements and a hybrid work modelPossibility to purchase up to 5 extra days off per yearMultiple benefits offered to support physical and mental wellbeing, including telemedicine, Wellness account and much moreShare plan & other savings: up to 12% of salary or even more (ask how you could earn guaranteed income for life)Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 5%Our pension offerings provide flexibility and long-term security for our employees beyond their careers.
