About the position
The IT Systems Analyst - EpicCare AMB position at Sentara Healthcare is a full-time remote role focused on supporting and optimizing EpicCare Ambulatory applications for non-Sentara owned physician practices. The analyst will be responsible for application builds, upgrades, and enhancements, as well as providing day-to-day support and problem resolution. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
Support and optimize EpicCare Ambulatory applications for non-Sentara owned physician practices.

Perform and document workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal application utilization.

Develop system test plans and conduct testing of software upgrades and patches.
,
Provide daily on-call support for application-related issues.
,
Analyze business and clinical needs, evaluate software releases, and recommend process optimizations.
,
Oversee smaller-sized projects or components of projects related to software application releases.
,
Coordinate implementation or project planning around software application releases and third-party integrations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
,
3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
,
Current EpicCare Ambulatory application certification is required.
,
Helpful but not required to have current Epic Prelude application certification.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with Prelude application build.
