IT Services Sales Manager - New Jersey Government
Location: Greater Philadelphia, Trenton, NJ. Hybrid/remote
Scientific Search client, a well-established national provider of information technology, consulting and business process services, has an immediate need for an IT Service Sales Manager, NJ Government. This is a full-time direct hire position with a dynamic/growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Ā Identifying and fostering strategic business relationships with a diverse range of clients spanning various departments within the State Government.
Ā Collaborating closely with Team Leaders and Senior Management to identify potential client
Ā Taking a proactive role in generating new business opportunities aligned with the Company's overarching growth strategy.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Ā A track record of maintaining consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts, positioning us as a strategic advisor capable of delivering actionable insights and pragmatic business solutions.
Ā A comprehensive grasp of their vision, strategic priorities, capabilities, and practice specialties.
Ā Proficiency in presenting their services, notably spotlighting their seasoned team of specialized recruiters and their proficiency in identifying and placing top-tier talent in the market.
Ā The ability to research, establish, and cultivate influential relationships with decision-makers at management and C-suite levels within client organizations.
Ā A talent for managing the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring promising opportunities are nurtured to closure.
Ā The capacity to systematically track and record sales activity in their CRM system.
Qualifications:
Ā Bachelor's degree in business is required; possessing an MBA is preferred.
Ā 3-5+ years of relevant [T sales experience, emphasizing Information Technology Services, preferably in the managed services, cloud/software, or technology security services market.
Ā A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
Ā Proficiency in negotiation, meeting customer service needs, and formulating effective sales
Ā Competency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Ā Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands while maintaining flexibility.
Ā Strong initiative, sound judgment, and adept problem-solving skills.
Ā Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ā Documented expertise in the market.
