Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced IT Service Engineer to join our Warehouse IT team. As an IT Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical support and services to our global team, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of our technical systems. You'll work closely with our Warehouse Operations team to understand their workflows and provide technical solutions to optimize their productivity. This is a full-time remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities


Build relationships with our Warehouse Operations team by spending time on the warehouse floor to understand their workflows and provide technical support.
Investigate and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including Windows server, network connectivity, and warehouse equipment issues.
Prioritize and manage tickets on ServiceNow to ensure timely updates and resolutions for our local and remote end clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and business teams to resolve high-impact incidents and provide quality and accurate data.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, and provide detailed analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
Demonstrate accountability and ownership by utilizing a strong work ethic to resolve complex issues from start to finish.
Lead and manage technical projects that impact the local site, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Be a team player and contribute to overall team goals, with flexibility to offer support to day-to-day satisfaction centers and participate on a rotational or on-standby shift, if necessary.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, IT, or equivalent).
2+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
2+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows Server and Active Directory issues (Group Policy and Client profiles).
2+ years of experience troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, VoIP, VPN, and Cisco/Aruba networking device issues.
2+ years of experience deploying software imaging using SCCM.
Experience troubleshooting warehouse device hardware, such as RF barcode scanners, label printers, desktops/PCs, and other peripherals/devices.
Experience with technical documentation and presenting detailed analysis to management.
Strong customer support and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
A strong work ethic and desire to be a lifelong learner.


Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:


A+, Network+, or other IT industry standard certifications.
Scripting experience, specifically with Powershell, VBScript, or PHP.
Experience with email, FTP, and HTTP troubleshooting.
