IT Business Analyst - Regulatory compliance

We are seeking a talented IT Business Analyst to join our team and work on enterprise systems and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL and data analysis and be passionate about driving business process improvements and system optimization across cross-functional teams. Responsibilities • Drive the identification and analysis of business requirements across multiple units, leveraging real-time data to uncover inefficiencies and improve processes • Partner with stakeholders (sales, finance, security, compliance) to gather, document, and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements • Create and manage project plans, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery across all levels of the organization • Perform quality assurance across the system development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet business and technical expectations • Conduct ongoing systems analysis, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering actionable insights • Produce and maintain clear documentation, including requirements, process flows, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership Requirements • 5–9 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or banking • Proven ability to translate business needs into detailed, testable functional requirements and process documentation • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and elicitation sessions with business, compliance, and technical stakeholders • Background in regulatory or compliance-driven projects within a CIB or financial institution • Ability to collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams while managing timelines and driving project deliverables • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences across local and global teams Nice-to-haves • French language skills, Business Objects, and ITIL Foundations knowledge are a plus Benefits • Competitive salary between USD $100,000 - US$140,000 • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching • 15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out) • 8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year • Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA • Voluntary STD and LTD • Commuter/transit benefits
