IT Asset Management Specialist

About the position The IT Asset Management Specialist ensures accurate and efficient management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including ordering, deployment, tracking, and recycling in alignment with established processes and compliance standards. This role also supports mobile account management and audiovisual (AV) systems, ensuring seamless device provisioning, account administration, and meeting technology support. Additionally, this role will assist with IT support as needed. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and follows a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities • Process requests for new IT assets from internal customers • Develop and analyze demand forecasts to ensure on-time product availability and optimal inventory levels. • Create purchase orders, review for completeness, accuracy, track activity including on‑time delivery, receipts, payments, and monthly accruals. • Communicate with customers regarding delivery timing and deployed asset status • Coordinate with customers for installation of new or replacement devices • Maintain hardware stockroom, including inventory and asset-tag company IT assets prior to issuance • Maintain inventory of IT assets in asset management system including acquisition dates, vendor, cost, warranty, end of life, deployment status. • Maintain the inventory database by continuously monitoring for discrepancies, performing regular physical audits, ensuring data accuracy. • Manage and supply reporting when requested or required for ITAM, AV and mobile account management • Manage monthly PC replacement process including gathering approvals, ordering, configuration, delivery, and disposal • Assist remote offices with physical inventory, AV, MAM processes through continued communication, support, education, reporting and visits • Assist in managing relationships with approved IT vendors • Audit invoices to ensure that correct charges have been applied • Negotiate prices and rates in accordance to company guidelines and standards • Assist in supporting relationships with approved IT vendors • Coordinate and track proper disposal of IT assets at the end of their lifecycle • Assist in supporting customers with mobile account management • Troubleshoot mobile account issues like access, features, and views • Ordering, upgrading, and deploying mobile devices • Assist with AV equipment and room support • Order, service and maintain AV equipment and rooms • Monitor Executive meetings and provide white glove service when requested • Provide IT support to customers • Work with procurement, engineering, infrastructure, data, service desk, admin, and facilities to support continued operational advancement across all departments. • Other duties as requested by leadership Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, IT or related field preferred • 3 years of prior experience managing IT assets in an enterprise environment • Prior experience in configuration of PCs and mobile devices • Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices including demand forecast planning, inventory management and purchasing • A proven professional with excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation and time management skills Nice-to-haves • Prior experience with online conferencing solutions preferred • Prior experience managing mobile accounts preferred Benefits • Benefit Package including Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage • 401K w/ Company Match • Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability • Vacation/Sick Time and Paid Holidays • Potential Bonus Opportunities • Career Development Opportunities • Employee Discounts • Weekly Payroll
