About the position

As the IT Application Support Specialist II at our innovative telehealth startup, you will be a key player in our mission to revolutionize behavioral healthcare delivery through technology. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000, and is ideally located in the Nashville area, with remote work considered based on experience. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the implementation, configuration, support, and maintenance of our business and telehealth applications, services, and systems. You will ensure the reliability and performance of all IT systems, applications, and services, playing a crucial role in our technology initiatives. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the integration and compatibility of new systems with our existing infrastructure. You will conduct thorough business analysis to understand and document business requirements, actively participate in the implementation and support of various telehealth and business applications, including Zoho CRM, EHR/EMRs, and TeleHealth systems. Collaboration with vendors and stakeholders will be essential to ensure the successful implementation of solutions, and you will troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly. Additionally, you will provide technical support and training to end-users and customers, enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant environment, and manage healthcare integrations such as HL7 and APIs. Your role will also involve leading IT and business projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies while utilizing project management tools and methodologies to streamline execution. Your contributions will extend to the continuous improvement of IT support, service desk, and application operations, ensuring timely resolution of user problems. You will maintain hardware and software asset inventory, support onboarding and offboarding processes, and utilize Azure services for application hosting and data storage. Furthermore, you will design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence needs, analyze data, and provide insights to aid decision-making processes, all while ensuring the security and compliance of cloud-based applications and data.

Responsibilities
• Ensure integration and compatibility of new systems with existing infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.

• Provide technical support and training to end-users and customers.
,
• Ensure consistent and reliable backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.

• Enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
,
• Manage and support healthcare integrations (HL7, API) and EHR/EMR systems (EPIC, Meditech, Cerner, etc.).
,
• Actively contribute and lead IT and Business projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline project execution and improve execution efficiency.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support, service desk, and IT application operations, ensuring timely resolution of user problems.

• Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including continued IT access and equipment provisioning.

• Utilize Azure services for application hosting, data storage, and integrations.

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.

• Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based applications and data.

Requirements
• Bachelor's or Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
,
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably Telehealth.
,
• Proven experience in IT application support, implementation, and maintenance.
,
• Strong knowledge of healthcare integrations (HL7, API) and EHR/EMR systems (EPIC, Meditech, Cerner, etc.).
,
• Strong business analysis capabilities and experience with RFI/RFP processes.
,
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects; PMP certification preferred.
,
• Experience with Power BI.
,
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
,
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
,
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
,
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
