IOP/PSC Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team at various locations in Scottsdale. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with high-end clientele, pediatric patients, and oncology patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
? Perform blood draws and specimen collection for pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
? Process and handle specimens according to established protocols.
? Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and clients.
? Work independently and manage workload efficiently in a two-person site.
? Take constructive criticism from office physicians and improve work practices.
? Maintain professionalism and clear communication in all interactions.
Essential Skills
? Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
? Experience in pediatric phlebotomy.
? Proficiency in specimen processing and handling.
? Strong customer service skills.
? Ability to perform blood draws with precision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
? Oncology experience preferred but not required.
? 1+ years of PSC or IOP experience preferred.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
? Professional demeanor and well-spoken.
Work Environment

You will be working in various locations including a high-paced office, a cancer center, and small patient service centers. The hours vary by location but generally fall within standard business hours. The role requires working independently, particularly in two-person sites, and interacting with high-end clientele. Dress code is professional attire. The work setting involves handling specimens, processing, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
