Investor Relations Analyst

Amalgamated Bank is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to support its investor relations functions. The role involves preparing investor presentations, assisting with external requests, and supporting the FP&A process including budget generation and financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesPrepare investor presentationsAssist with external requests from Bank analystsAssist with public regulatory filingsClosely follow the Bank’s stock performance and identify/analyze market trends or anomalies and report to senior managementAssist with the quarterly financial reporting processAssist with the generation of the company budgetPerform ad hoc requests (analysis and reporting) for functional leaders and senior managementCollaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and marketing, to gather and analyze financial and non-financial data for investor reporting purposesCollaborate with internal communications and marketing partners to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment of internal and external communicationsPerform other duties as directedSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience; BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field preferredStrong quantitative skills and analytical rigorHigh aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysisAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Axiom and/or other financial reporting platformsProficient with MS suite PowerPoint, Excel, Word and prior experience with financial management/budgeting applicationsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressureExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsCompany OverviewFor over a century, Amalgamated Bank has been America’s Socially Responsible bank supporting thousands of people, organizations, causes and businesses.
