About the position
The Investment Grade and Asset Backed Debt Syndicate team at Mizuho is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the distribution and execution of investment grade and asset backed securities offerings. Responsibilities
Ā Assist in the origination of investment grade and asset backed mandates by providing relevant market data and commentary.

Ā Gain a broad understanding of the investment grade, asset backed, and corporate banking business.

Ā Support deal executions by preparing internal marketing materials, liaising with the salesforce, and managing the orderbook building process through our bookbuilding application.

Ā Manage the operations process, coordinating with internal operations, settlements, sales and trading personnel, compliance, market risk, and treasury.
,
Ā Analyze issuance data, macroeconomic developments, and market trends to prepare insightful materials for clients and senior management.
,
Ā Maintain internal deal and market databases used by respective product groups.
,
Ā Monitor risk positions and ensure compliance with regulations.
,
Ā Work with the IT project management team to develop and manage information technology solutions for data maintenance and desk productivity.
,
Ā Develop strong working relationships with peers and senior managers in Capital Markets and other divisions.
,
Ā Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth deal execution and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Ā Assist team members on the Commercial Paper desk when needed.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.

Ā Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
