INTERNAL ONLY - Credentialing Specialist

We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own.
Required:

? Ability to speak eloquently about past accomplishments
? 2-10 years of previous job experience
? 1-5 years of credentialing experience preferred
? 2 + years of experience in an administrative role required (preferably Behavioral Health or Healthcare)
? Delegated Credentialing experience preferred
? Fully understand CAQH Attestations and processing
? Proficient at using Excel and Word (Google Suite Products preferred)
Responsibilities:
? Carries out the provider enrollment function as delegated by payor plans
? Obtain and store contracts, contact information, provider information, and fee schedules in an orderly fashion
? Processing and tracking of applications to ensure timely enrollment
? Timely resolution on payor information requests
? Facilitate payer calls to address contracting or credentialing issues
? Maintaining the provider enrollment database. Updating the database with new providers, and with changes in provider information.
? Able to act independently to review and assess provider applications for completion, identify credentialing concerns and request appropriate follow up information from providers or other sources as needed
? Prioritizes and completes all work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner
? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks or other duties as needed
