Intermediate QA Engineer
Responsibilities • Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Perform functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing for web-based applications. • Execute manual test cases, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies. • Continuously improve QA processes by identifying gaps and implementing best practices. • Provide feedback on usability and contribute to improving the customer experience. Requirements • 2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing. • Engineering or Computer Science degree. • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM). • Experience testing web applications and APIs. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to document and communicate findings clearly. • Experience with basic database queries (SQL or NoSQL). • Preferred: Exposure to AWS services, Jenkins, MongoDB, and Shopify.
